Heartland Alliance is an anti-poverty organization who works in communities across Chicago to serve those that are homeless, living in poverty, or seeking safety.

They provide an array of services in the areas of health, housing, jobs and justice. Heartland Alliance advances the human rights and responds to the human needs of endangered populations—particularly the poor, the isolated, and the displaced—through the provision of comprehensive and respectful services and the promotion of permanent solutions leading to a more just global society.

This meal donation was focused on Heart Alliance Health, feeding their healthcare workers and employees in clinics across the north and south sides of Chicago.

50 meals were purchased from Lizzy J Café for distribution in and around Uptown and 50 meals were purchased from Garifuna Flava for distribution in and around Englewood.
