CRER Cares in partnership with Sanjeev Khatau, purchased 120 meals from Lexington Betty Smokehouse to deliver to Roseland Community Hospital on Chicago’s south side. Roseland Community Hospital has been on the front lines of the COVID-19 Pandemic with ER and ICU care as well as mobile testing facilities. The kitchen facility at Roseland has been shut down due to an employee experiencing COVID-19 systems, so they now rely on outside food donations to feed their staff. Lexington Betty Smokehouse, located at One Eleven Food Hall in the 111th Street Gateway Retail Center, was a perfect restaurant partner to support for this delivery. Dominique Leach, owner of Lexington Betty’s, we great to work with and we were glad to support her fantastic restaurant.

Sanjeev Khatau
Sanjeev Khatau with Diya Group is a local entrepreneur and developer who operates 42 Dunkin’, Taco Bell and Burger King franchise locations primarily on the south side of Chicago that employ approximately 400 people. This meal delivery would not be possible without his generous donation through CRER Cares. CRER Cares is still in the early stages of this project and we are actively seeking more partners to help us reach our goal and expand our projects reach to as many organizations as possible. If you have interest in becoming a partner or meal sponsor, please contact us at care@crer.com. All donors big or small are greatly appreciated! Special thanks to CRER broker Sean Kelly for assisting with this meal delivery.
